Karisma: Integrated Clinical Information System
Charter Kontron supply one of the most respected and versatile Patient Data Management/Clinical Information Systems available.
Information is collected automatically from Patient Monitors, infusion systems, Ventilators and Blood Gas Analysers where a serial output is available on the device. Nursing notes, comments and drug prescription data is input by the medical staff via the keyboard with suitable password control/access.
The Karisma Clinical Information System provides the user with instant access to key patient information and allows review of patient progress over the whole stay and archiving of critical data.
Karisma is designed for seamless integration with the ICNARC reporting package the CK7000 patient monitoring systems as well as a range of Ventilators and Infusion systems. Other Patient monitoring systems can be supported.
The KARISMA brings together experience and technology to produce solutions which meet the needs and working practices of staff involved in the most intensive of acute patient care.
These systems are aimed at collecting, collating and presenting some of the most clerically and mentally demanding patient data.
KARISMA can cater for all the normal patient charting and note taking tasks and can so at the bedside, using less space than the average chart.
