Horizon Compact system is a desk top version; an ideal choice for "high end" requirement customers that have control room space constraints, desire laser printing, and system archive to DVD or network storage path. It is a complete Haemodynamic monitoring and analysis system embedded within Charter Kontron’s total IT solution for cardiac and angiography labs. The increasing need for networkability and an efficient workflow requires the need for a system that has inherent networking power and which is able to process and distribute a huge amount of data in a transparent fashion.

Import/ Export Connectivity
Horizon Compact and the CIS module supports HL7/ DICOM interfaces to import work list demographics, thus eliminating the need for entering multiple patient demographic data sets, minimizing keyboard errors. Case data is automatically passed to the integrated CIS module including waveform full disclosure, screen snapshots and made available for export to external devices via HL7 or XML and other protocols.

Complete Integrated Pediatric Package
The Horizon Compact offers the best pediatric package on the market! Developed with the cooperation of leading pediatricians world-wide, he package allows the user complete flexibility in customizing congenital heart diagrams (Mullins) graphically and/or alphanumerically. An online oximetry and shunt calculation module with user friendly interface provides on-line calculations and post re-analysis

Interventions: Coronary Tree Score and PTCA Table
Horizon Compact includes a user-friendly coronary tree that allows online documentation of interventional procedures, including stenosis data, equipment used and intervention procedure details.

Peripheral Vessel Management
Horizon Compact provides a complete and unique peripheral vessel module, providing the ability to monitor and measure peripherals pressure, define and calculate gradients and free-hand drawing/reporting of vessel abnormalities before and after interventional procedures. The PTA table provides a real-time documentation of the interventional procedure, automatically time-stamping procedures and timing inflations

Multi-purpose Intuitive User Interface
2 styles of User Interface are available

- Conventional Graphical - provides all main controls in one screen, eliminating the need to use dropdown menus or icon clicking. This interface is suitable for users that meticulously annotate each and every step of the case and require online notes or PTCA table screens.
- Icon-based - intended for users requiring a dual waveform monitor and documentation tools intermittently.

Offline Workstation and Remote Interactive Terminal
Offline workstation allows for remote interaction with the system, serving as an administrative tool which allows the user to register patient(s), view data of existing patient, reanalyze, edit and create reports. The remote interactive terminal enables simultaneous operation of the system from additional locations (typically from the procedure room).
